The General Process and Cycle of Development

"We then must ask ourselves valuable questions like: How does the project change what is already present? How can it make a difference? How will people feel? Does it deserve to exist?"
Our goal is to achieve growth and success in our mission and vision. To have growth we believe in the existence of a cycle of development which we push ourselves through constantly.
First it begins at the core of our purpose. We are founded upon the notion that we are here to provide a service to the community and serve their needs through support in the use of technology. At this stage, we then must analyze and find areas where technology could better serve the school and the life of the school. It is a stage where we learn about the current use of technology in the field or evaluate how technology can perhaps improve upon a process which may have already been established sans technology. An example of this process is our evaluation of the Publishing Field at our school. For a very long time it was clear the publishing was where technology is being used constantly as part of developing pieces of work vital to our student's experience of our school. However, at the same time, it was clear to us that there was room and potential to expand the use of technology in. As such from there we then begin to consider how we can make a difference in that field of work.
Once we decide within ourselves a direction we want to held in, a field of work we want to explore, we then begin to discuss the possibilities we can embark on in terms of delivering either new services and creating a project to suit the nature of the field of work that sought our attention. In the case of our interest and the potential that we saw in the publishing field,we realized that in order to make a difference a catalyst for change needs to first be created to garner the attention of the people and their support. Thus was the creation of the Tech Crewsaders Magazine, which till this day serves as one of our foundational project for our team members as well as a project which we truly believe to have a profound impact on the community that we serve.
In the stages that follows the conception of a new project, it is vital that all levels of the community is considered for in its development including students, faculty and administrators as well. We then must ask ourselves valuable questions like: How does the project change what is already present? How can it make a difference? How will people feel? Does it deserve to exist? and most importantly can it be achieved? Even if a project may have inherent value in developing it but does not benefit the community in the long run it is simply not the project that we will embark on. It is in the projects that can have the potential to change to aid and to benefit the community that we take it as our primary priority.
Once we believe that we have finished our works in laying a foundation for a project to be self sustainable internally, we then reflect and improve our work continuously, but in the end to grow and continue to excel it is necessary again to look for new fields to explore and new areas where we can support and improve our community.
